Warehouse Associate

About the role

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock
• Maintain clear records of all inventory and stock
• Scan items into the warehouse management system
• Inspect stock for damages and document any issues
• Organize warehouse space efficiently
• Prepare and pick orders for shipment
• Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments
• Operate stock management tools, including powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks
• Count stock and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform routine cleaning duties
• Interface with management to meet key objectives
• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable laws
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets as needed

Requirements

• Accurately follow written and verbal directions
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards
• Regularly lift, push, pull, or move objects weighing 10-50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and occasionally sit, climb (ladders/stairs), or balance
• Work in environmental conditions with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes
• Function in narrow aisles or passageways
• Possess specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Manage time effectively and work well under pressure
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintain open availability, flexibility, and willingness to work various shifts and overtime
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse safety measures
• Commitment to maintaining and promoting workplace safety
