Warehouse Associate

About the role

This position is responsible for all warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspection of all deliveries
• Use computer/internet-based system to accurately receive, inventory, and ship equipment
• Communicate via email, Teams, or phone with other departments inside Singer Kittredge
• Accurately pick equipment from the warehouse based on provided documentation and assemble/build correctly for delivery to construction sites
• Follow warehouse safety regulations
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks (forklift and pallet jack)
• Perform work under general supervision
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems; refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Additional duties may be assigned as necessitated by business demands

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of experience
• Strong communication, customer service, and organization skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply career fields is a bonus.
