Warehouse Associate

About the role
This is a full-time, direct hire position for a diligent, hardworking team player with a positive attitude. The role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting products, pulling and packing orders, and operating delivery vehicles. You will also perform regular maintenance on machinery, ensure safety protocols are followed, and help maintain a safe and orderly facility. Occasional work on local job sites and basic fabrication duties may be required.
Responsibilities
- Check incoming and outgoing shipments physically
- Inspect products for defects and accuracy
- Pull, pack, and ship finished goods
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
- Inspect machinery to determine repair needs and perform regular maintenance
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places
- Pull orders from shelves, place and secure them onto pallets
- Communicate with managers to identify equipment needing maintenance
- Ensure safety measures are followed and tools/equipment are cleaned and maintained
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities
- Occasionally assist on local job sites (building/tearing down structures and loading trucks)
- Perform basic fabrication duties (e.g., drilling, cutting)
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Forklift License (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and industrial equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety instructions
- Ability to work overtime occasionally
- Forklift experience and license (preferred)
- Experience loading/unloading trucks (flat-beds/trailers preferred)
- Small engine repair and maintenance skills (preferred but not required)
- Able to stand continuously for long periods
- Able to repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs
Work Environment
- Exposed to excessive noise
- Around moving machinery

- Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may be required
Pay
Starting pay: $18 per hour (hourly). Overtime pay available.
