Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reads production schedule, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
  • Conveys materials and items from Raw Goods to Production areas or to other designated areas
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • Marks materials with identifying information
  • Records amount of materials or items received or distributed
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Arranges materials in specified sequence for use by other workers
  • Uses computer, barcode scanner and/or other devices to record material transactions
  • Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
  • Maintains inventory records on paper and/or in ERP system

  • Support Warehouse Supervisor in any/all warehouse activities and programs necessary for developing the desired company culture
  • Support Our Recipe by demonstrating a positive, team-oriented and customer-focused attitude

Performance Standards

  • Receiving Logs: Logs kept current/accurate and in compliance with accepted dept standards
  • Receiving documents are delivered to warehouse manager for reconciliation
  • Loading Logs: Logs kept current/accurate and in compliance with accepted dept standards
  • Loading documents delivered to warehouse manager for reconciliation
  • Culture Building: Organizational Health, KPIs for OurRecipe

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree from college or technical school preferred
  • 3-5 years prior experience or training preferred
  • Equivalent combination of schooling and experience accepted

Other

  • Must have proven experience and be able to drive electric forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly
