Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads production schedule, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
- Conveys materials and items from Raw Goods to Production areas or to other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Records amount of materials or items received or distributed
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
- Arranges materials in specified sequence for use by other workers
- Uses computer, barcode scanner and/or other devices to record material transactions
- Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
- Maintains inventory records on paper and/or in ERP system
Culture Building
- Support Warehouse Supervisor in any/all warehouse activities and programs necessary for developing the desired company culture
- Support Our Recipe by demonstrating a positive, team-oriented and customer-focused attitude
Performance Standards
- Receiving Logs: Logs kept current/accurate and in compliance with accepted dept standards
- Receiving documents are delivered to warehouse manager for reconciliation
- Loading Logs: Logs kept current/accurate and in compliance with accepted dept standards

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associates degree from college or technical school preferred
- 3-5 years prior experience or training preferred
- Equivalent combination of schooling and experience accepted
Other
- Must have proven experience and be able to drive electric forklifts and pallet jacks
- Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly
