About the Role

The Warehouse Associate assists in coordinating and participating in the receipt, storage, loading, unloading, delivery, and inventory of items, supplies, and equipment. This role involves verifying stock, maintaining warehouse organization, ensuring safe vehicle operation, and supporting efficient warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.
• Participate in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
• Drive company vehicles to transport orders and materials to designated sites.
• Load delivery vehicles, ensuring all items and supplies are properly secured.
• Load, unload, prepare, sort, and organize materials, tools, and other items.
• Maintain and clean warehouse facilities to ensure an orderly, safe environment.
• Maintain vehicles by checking fluid levels, fueling, and cleaning for safe operation.
• Adhere to safety practices and courteous behavior in the warehouse, on job sites, and while operating company vehicles.
• Prepare orders by pulling stock to meet delivery requirements.
• Receive deliveries, inspect items for damage, and verify specifications, quantity, and quality before accepting responsibility.
• Stock equipment and supplies to maintain required inventory levels.
• Interpret inventory, delivery, and safety metrics to streamline warehouse processes.
• Maintain documentation for items taken from or returned to inventory.
• Scan incoming shipments for proper inventory tracking.
• Partner with the Warehouse Manager to evaluate inventory levels and proactively order low stock.
• Deliver materials or other items to job sites as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
• Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and general safety policies.
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles/equipment and pass appropriate certification courses (e.g., Forklift, Box Truck).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree.
• 3+ years of related experience; trade experience is a plus.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.

Schedule

Standard work schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Flexibility is required as job demands may change.
