We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily logistics and operational coordination in Grand Prairie, Texas. This is a contract-to-permanent position ideal for someone who enjoys keeping shipments, inventory activity, and administrative tasks organized in a fast-paced environment.
About the role
The person in this role will work closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain smooth shipping and receiving processes, update records accurately, and help ensure day-to-day operations stay on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to help maintain accurate delivery timing and warehouse flow.
- Update operational data in business systems such as NetSuite or SAP to support daily logistics activities.
- Assist with purchasing-related tasks and help monitor inventory movement across receiving and distribution processes.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, logs, and reports in Microsoft Excel to track shipments and operational performance.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve delays, confirm status updates, and support order completion.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying documentation, recording transactions, and maintaining organized records.
- Respond to inbound calls or inquiries related to logistics, orders, and operational support needs.
- Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to help keep warehouse and administrative operations aligned.
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics coordination, operations support, or administrative roles in a distribution environment.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite, SAP, or similar enterprise systems used for operational tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to maintain reports, trackers, and data records accurately.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, shipment logging, and inventory-related workflows.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and callers in a clear and attentive manner.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented operation.
