Warehouse Associate
About the role
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. Richards Building Supply is seeking an individual for their Greer, SC location.
Responsibilities
- Receive materials in the warehouse
- Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries
- Provide superior customer service
- Double check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are thoroughly secured for delivery
- Provide warehouse support including shipping/receiving
- Pull orders for walk-in customers
Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- Ability to stand, bend, and twist throughout the shift
- Forklift experience preferred
- Communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written)
- Basic math skills for inventory counts
- Positive attitude and team player
- Adhere to safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day, some lifting over 100 lbs. may be required
Qualifications
- Exterior Building Material knowledge preferred
- 20 Paid Days Off (includes PTO, Holidays and Family Focused Company Closure between Christmas and New Years)
