Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, organize, store, and accurately record energy-efficiency measures, demand response devices, tools, and other program materials.
- Pick, stage, and issue materials and equipment for field technicians based on scheduled work orders and planned field activity.
- Track serial-numbered demand response devices and other controlled inventory from receipt through issuance, return, and reconciliation.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory reconciliations and investigate or escalate discrepancies.
- Process returned, defective, unused, or replaced equipment in accordance with program procedures.
- Organizes and consolidates like products with pallet jacks/hand carts as they are received into inventory.
- Stacks packages onto pallets and wrap/label for shipping.
- Loads pallets into storage (use of pallet jack required).
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the warehouse daily.
- Breakdown cardboard and organize/palletize for bi-weekly tractor trailer pickups.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Six months of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, inventory, production, or related experience preferred; equivalent transferable experience will be considered.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, and climb.
- Ability to safely operate, or willingness to be trained to operate, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and order-tracking systems.
- Able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions, including workplace safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, organization, and teamwork.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
