Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Operations team is a critical part of Charlie’s Produce, handling up to 200 loads per week. This team includes dedicated receivers who manage the unloading of trailers, sorting items, and ensuring proper inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Pick daily customer orders according to pick ticket and Vocollect Headset.
• Orders must be picked within an acceptable guideline for errors.
• Place orders on pallets with special consideration given to maximizing product care, taking into account wet vs. dry goods and proper stacking to ensure safe transport and delivery to customer.
• Stage completed pallets in loading area.
• Load trucks as determined by delivery schedule.
• Pick short sheets as assigned.
• Complete necessary paperwork by recording amounts of items picked.
• Palletize and wrap orders for shipping.
• Maintain warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of prior warehouse work experience preferred.
• Must have basic math comprehension skills.
• Must be safety minded.
• Ability to work on your own with a detailed list of tasks to accomplish during shift.
• Good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.

Pay

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.

Schedule

Scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
