Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate will retrieve stock to refill the shipping warehouse, accept incoming shipments, and maintain the general organization of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of trailers
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Assisting with daily cycle counts of inventory
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Organizing and completing stocking shelves, rotating inventory according to date, etc.
• Receiving orders/shortage reports and retrieving goods from warehouse
• Checking packing list for accuracy and inspecting inbound goods
• Adhering to company policies and procedures as communicated
• Transporting completed orders to the shipping audit lines for final inspection
• Conducting physical inventories as required
• Assisting in placing incoming items into inventory
• Communicating with supervisor, inventory control, wave planner, or problem solver with order-related issues
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including:
  • Pallet jacks – manual and powered
  • Forklifts – Stand-up/Sit-down
  • Turret Truck
  • Push Carts
  • Rolling ladders
  • RF Scanner
• Comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging up to 16ft
• Must be able to work 7am-4pm
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Basic math skills
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic, whether working with others or unsupervised
• Ability to be cross-trained and work a variety of jobs

Physical Requirements

• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (varied based on daily tasks)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have good hand/eye coordination
• Finger/wrist dexterity to work effectively on a computer keyboard or grabbing/packaging product
