Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

  • Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.
  • Captures and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.
  • Implements daily production and shipping plans, arranging for excess stock to be stored in the warehouse.
  • Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments.
  • Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
  • Identifies and reports slow-moving product and with approval, arranges for the removal of the product.
  • Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
  • Operates forklift truck.
  • Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
  • Examines shipment contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
  • Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
  • Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with hand jack, forklift, and roll grab
  • CDL License (preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to speak English

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year experience in a warehouse role

Skills

  • Regular lifting up/moving up to 55 lbs. on a consistent basis
