Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Pulling parts to fill customer orders, counter parts requests, and service department requests.
• Receiving stock and filling parts orders with a high degree of accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
• Receiving and putting away weekly stock orders.
• Receiving all customer and service department ordered parts and components and placing in proper areas or shipping to the customers per order specifications.
• Processing parts returns, re-shelving, and issuing appropriate credit memos.
• Processing cores on exchange components.
• Receiving and shipping UPS and other freight.
• Pulling weekly technician van replenishment.
• Delivering parts to technicians, customer sites, and other off-site locations.
• Demonstrating safety practices regarding forklift operation and palletizing parts safely.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehouse and shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Read, write, communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.
• Maintain Operator qualifications for all Powered Industrial Trucks operated.
• Current valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Workplace Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and/or otherwise move up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, vibration, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to noise levels in some work environments.
