About the role
Technician Support
- Determine the needs of the Technician
- Cross reference if parts needed are in the company; if not, talk to supervisor to have ordered
- If specific part is located in another location, contact warehouse personnel at said location and have shipped via UPS to our location
- When parts arrive, stage for Technicians and alert Service Dept. parts have arrived
- Transfer to inventory to Technicians’ trucks
Warranty And Repairs
- Collect cores and used parts to be repaired or replaced under a PO, SR, blue slip, etc.
- Fill out WRMA forms for Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Gas Boy parts
- Confirm VeriFone warranty repairs on website (premier.verifone.com)
- Ensure all parts collected are to be repaired or replaced, then ship to proper repair facilities and track shipments with UPS
Technician Inventories
- Take stock on every Technician’s Vehicle quarterly
- Scan in and count EVERY item that has one of the company’s barcode on it
- Evaluate with supervisor if Technician’s vehicle is over or under what the last inventory figures were
Warehouse Day To Day Functions
- Organize and control stored materials and equipment
- Ensure material and equipment are properly stored
- Receiving, labeling, stocking new inventory
- Participate in an annual physical inventory
- Ensure all materials received for customers are staged and marked, and the customer and/or sales persons are notified
- Serve as back up to sale materials over the counter to customers
- Assist with checking in dispensers and noting any damages or discrepancies
- Loading and unloading freight trucks
- Assist customers picking up equipment
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED required
- General knowledge of warehouse and inventory control systems
- Experience with cycle count activities, forklift operation, shipping and receiving
- Punctual with strong attendance history
- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
Physical Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day
Pay
$18-21/hr dependent on experience
