About the Role

A Warehouse Associate ensures the safe, efficient flow of renewable energy equipment—such as inverters, power electronics, and related components—through receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch. This role supports both internal teams and customer deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming renewable energy equipment and parts.
  • Book equipment into warehouse systems and apply correct labeling.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare equipment for dispatch or internal transfer.
  • Move equipment between the warehouse, workshop, and storage areas using safe manual handling techniques and lifting aids.
  • Assist with stock control, cycle counts, and basic inventory checks.
  • Support workshop teams by staging equipment for repair and refurbishment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
  • Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Pull parts orders accurately and on time.
  • Prepare LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments for outbound delivery.
  • Pack all parcel shipments according to shipping requirements.
  • Maintain records of outgoing shipments.

As-Needed Responsibilities

  • Process Industrial Sales deliveries in the ERP system.
  • Prepare and process vendor return shipments.
  • Load Industrial and Residential generator deliveries.
  • Assist with pulling parts for Industrial Sales jobs.
  • Assist with stocking and organizing parts and units.
  • Pull parts for Service Department preventative maintenance (PM) work.
  • Pull parts for service modifications performed by the Service Department.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Willingness to learn warehouse processes and systems.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills (English).
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting 30–60 lbs (with lifting aids).
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or stock handling experience preferred.
  • Experience handling technical, electrical, or industrial equipment preferred.
  • Forklift license or experience (training available) preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Interest in renewable energy or sustainability preferred.
  • Warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately pull, pack, and organize parts.
  • Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts (certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with parcel and LTL shipping methods a plus.
  • Basic computer skills for ERP order processing and shipment tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
