Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Herff Jones Cap and Gown team, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team. This role involves daily activities such as lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting, reading, communication, and simple math.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, sit, grasp, reach, stand, kneel, walk, bend, twist.
• Read, communicate, and perform basic math tasks.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Work all mandatory overtime.
• Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work extended periods at a computer.
• Work in a noise environment that is usually moderate to above moderate.

Requirements

• Self-motivated.
• Adequate computer skills.
• Reading, writing, and math skills commensurate with job duties.
• Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to recognize colors and different cloth styles.
• Able to work all mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
