Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the work environment.
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Receiving inventory deliveries.
• Accurately counting and verifying inventory.

• Communicating discrepancies to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements

• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Prior work experience as a general laborer, particularly in a refrigerated warehouse environment, is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift is essential.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening is mandatory.
• Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills.

• A willingness to work in a cold climate, with temperatures around 35ºF, is necessary.

About the Role

The warehouse associate is responsible for the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, encompassing both outgoing and incoming shipments. Primary tasks include selecting products from the warehouse, loading and securing goods onto pallets, transporting inventory to the designated delivery area, and efficiently loading merchandise. Additionally, the associate will be required to unload stock from delivery vehicles and appropriately store it in specified warehouse locations. It is imperative to maintain a clean and orderly work environment while adhering to all applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. To achieve success in this role, the ability to follow instructions and operate in an organized manner is essential.
