Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to incoming product and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all company safety regulations
• Receive, unload and stock incoming inventory items appropriately
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Maintain equipment and warehouse space
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
• Pick customer orders from bin locations
• Stage customer orders for shipment
• Maintain and rotate shelving stock

Requirements and skills

• Proven warehouse experience
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy product

Physical Requirements

• Walking and standing on concrete/hard surfaces for a minimum of 2.5 hours to 8 hours at a time
• Able to lift and carry up to 75-100 pounds
• Able to reach, twist, bend, kneel, climb a ladder while carrying product
• May require the ability to drive a forklift and/or order picker
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Able to work in fluctuating temperatures and environmental conditions
