We’re hiring a Warehouse Associate in Memphis, TN and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in support of activities related to the picking, packing & shipping of internal and external orders with 100% accuracy.
  • Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks throughout the day as needed; may be requested to count product being received and/or shipped to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines when working throughout the warehouse, operating equipment, etc. This includes wearing safety vests, protective eye wear if required, protective shoes, etc.
  • Follow all SOP and work instruction guidelines as trained; processes are designed with the goal of best practices across the Supply Chain.
  • Attend daily pre-shift meetings to understand daily expectations and goals, review KPIs, and cover safety topics and reminders.
  • Understand specific pre-shift and end-of-shift responsibilities such as area prep, area clean-up, proper machinery shutdown, or proper charging of forklifts, scanners, or other tools used in normal daily activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to develop a best-in-class supply chain operation, as assigned.
  • Upon completion of training program, ask questions to ensure understanding and receive additional oversight as needed.
  • Comply with company SOP’s regarding fulfillment practices to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipment of internal and external orders.
  • Ensure department activities are compliant with all Company processes and requirements, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be willing to work until the end of shift and/or until all assigned work is completed — end time may vary depending on operational needs.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of work experience.
  • Experience in Fulfillment Operations or any other Supply Chain disciplines is a plus.
  • Extensive experience and a desire to learn, grow and be part of a successful team REQUIRED!

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to load/unload trucks as required.
  • ERP experience a plus, specifically with Microsoft and Google suite of systems.
  • Experience on forklifts and order picker equipment is a plus.
  • Operate warehouse scanning equipment, computers, and other technical devices used in automated operations.
  • Ability to move about the facility on a regular basis to perform physical activities, such as lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
  • Visual and hearing acuity.
