Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Provides order and delivery services supporting branch operations.
• Manages all warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery.
• Maintains the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Works in a safety-sensitive position requiring constant awareness and safe behavior.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Reads orders and matches them to items picked from shipping tickets.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Able to obtain certification for power-truck equipment.
• Operates inventory control equipment such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
• Spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• May require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
