About the role
The Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of the warehouse and production supply chain, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of materials. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with technology and warehouse management systems. The Warehouse Associate works cross-functionally with production and other departments to maintain efficient workflows and accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily/weekly/monthly inventories when requested
- Operate and support the Batchmasters software program, which helps manage receiving and production
- Receive deliveries, perform quality control checks, and record information in required systems
- Build and prepare orders for customers and vendors
- Organize warehouse, hallway, loading and receiving areas
- Perform opening and closing tasks
- Provide support to other departments as needed
- Perform other tasks and/or duties as assigned by manager
- Organize ingredient and material storage areas; handle distribution to production departments
- Complete and maintain USDA forms and other documentation as required for the warehouse department
Requirements
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other spreadsheet/word processing tools
- Comfortable with modern technology and warehouse management systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Functional English language proficiency (spoken and written) required for safety, communication, and documentation
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Preferred Requirements
- Ability to drive and operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Have an active driver's license
Essential Functions
- Ability to lift and move materials as required (50+ lbs)
- Work in extreme temperatures such as coolers and freezers
