Responsibilities
- Pull and stage orders
- Accurately count and locate product
- Stock and consolidate tools and materials
- Verify inventory to PO’s and manifests
- Inspect and process returns
- Maintain accurate sign-in and sign-out procedures for tools and other warehouse items
- Prepare all appropriate shipping documentation
- Ensure all materials, supplies, etc. leaving the shop are properly documented on a material sheet
- List all overstocked items and return to vendor
- Check and put away stock orders
- Maintain shop and yard in a clean and orderly fashion
- Assist Installers in loading and unloading vans
- Ensure all jobs scheduled for the next day have all material and equipment pulled and staged for installers
- List return material when necessary and return to stock
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and insurable through company insurance carrier
- Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
- 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in a similar trade
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs safely
- Familiarity with SAP or other inventory-tracking software
