About the role

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking, and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Nashville Distribution Center located in Antioch, TN. Chick-fil-A Supply is a distribution service provider focused entirely on serving the unique needs of Chick-fil-A® restaurants. We are in the early stages of development and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to restaurants across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Efficiency and Organization: Actively engage in unloading, staging, picking, and loading products while on your feet.
• Safety First: Safely operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Communication and Care: Connect with care with everyone you come in contact with.
• Additional Opportunities and Professional Development: Perform other duties and growth opportunities as assigned.

Requirements

• Work in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10°F to 100°F) to keep food safe.
• Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift; occasionally use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation, interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required.
• Previous work in food distribution is a plus.

Pay

Starting at $22 per hour.

Schedule

4 days per week (4 ten-hour days), 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM until the work is done. Schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts occasionally.
