Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Operations team is a crucial part of Company Description Quality Sales Food Service. This team handles receiving up to 200 loads per week, ensuring orders are picked accurately, palletized properly, and loaded onto trucks according to delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Pick daily customer orders according to pick ticket and Vocollect Headset.
• Place orders on pallets with special consideration given to maximizing product care, taking into account wet vs. dry goods and proper stacking.
• Stage completed pallets in loading area.
• Load trucks as determined by delivery schedule.
• Pick short sheets as assigned.
• Complete necessary paperwork by recording amounts of items picked.
• Properly palletize and wrap orders for shipping.
• Maintain warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of prior warehouse work experience preferred.
• Basic math comprehension skills.
• Safety-minded attitude.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Good communication skills.

Pay

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
