Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered
• Inspects and stores inventory according to policy
• Conducts physical inventory and compares results to computerized inventory
• Reconciles any differences between physical and computerized inventory
• Replenishes stock and inventory as needed
• Ensures that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse
• Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule
• Schedules materials being transferred to and from the warehouse
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
• Maintains accurate records of inventory, equipment maintenance, and mandatory safety training
• Develops and manages processes for equipment maintenance and parts replacement
• Maintains operating instructions and safety policies
• Solves routine equipment issues
• Implements corrective actions if necessary

Required Skills/Abilities

• Able to pass the Driving Background
• Valid Driver's License is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• English speaking, bilingual preferred
• Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED encouraged but not required
• At least 2 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or related field required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
