About the role
Join CBX Solutions, the nation’s leading provider of architectural doors, frames, hardware, specialty products, and complete security integration services. As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll help ensure the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently by completing tasks assigned by the Warehouse/Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Pull inventory for shipments and ensure correct material is loaded on trucks for delivery.
- Record selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Work in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations.
- Load finished product onto trucks.
- Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders.
- Follow all applicable safety regulations related to driving, vehicle checks, material handling, and customer site specifics.
- Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner, including counter sales to General Contractors.
- Use technology to help manage the logistics process.
- Perform other relative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus.
- Experience driving trucks for delivery preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to accurately perform arithmetic, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms.
- Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates.
Physical Demands
- Spends more than 2/3 of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands, and reaching.
- Spends approximately 1/3 of time walking and talking/hearing.
- Frequent lifting required of items 25-50 pounds, and occasional lifting over 50 pounds.

Work Environment
- Conditions include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware.
- Subject to frequent heavy lifting.
- May require driving to project sites.
- May be exposed to variable weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
