Warehouse Associate

About the Role

Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dedicated Part Time Warehouse Associate to manage daily warehouse operations, including picking and verifying orders, loading and unloading products, and maintaining inventory control using advanced warehouse technology. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of HVAC products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return
• Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse
• Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards
• Scan products to ensure accurate and timely shipping
• Collaborate with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers) for product delivery
• Deliver exceptional customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the HVAC or similar distribution industry
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (team-building) skills
• Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the HVAC industry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in PC skills and experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems
• Current Forklift certification is preferred
