Responsibilities
- Receiving Materials: Unload shipments, verify contents against invoices, inspect for damage, and complete Goods Receipt transactions in SAP.
- Storing Materials: Organize and label inventory in designated storage locations (racks, shelves, or bins); maintain proper documentation of item placement.
- Inventory Management: Perform routine cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with internal and external audits.
- Material Distribution: Pick and stage materials for production or shipment. Deliver items to proper departments and communicate delivery completion to internal partners.
- Shipping & Packing: Package finished goods, generate shipping labels and documentation, and assist with outbound shipment coordination.
- Operating Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Perform daily equipment safety checks and report issues.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. Follow all safety protocols and immediately report unsafe conditions.
- Issue purchase orders and assist with tracking inbound shipments.
- Collaborate with internal departments including sales, service, and operations to meet material deadlines.
- Support process improvement initiatives such as 5S and lean practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
- Previous experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and inventory systems).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Certificates & Licenses
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Forklift Certification.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, depending on site location, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment. The employee may occasionally be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in some work environments is occasionally loud.
