Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and count packages, ensuring proper registration in the system and timely transportation.
- Proficiently operate both manual and electric pallet jacks to transfer packages to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Efficiently sort products and arrange them on appropriate racks and shelves according to established procedures and deadlines.
- Follow work orders meticulously to accurately prepare and pick stock orders, maintaining high levels of order accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize basic computer skills to perform data entry tasks and update product information as instructed, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
- Execute outbound processes, including packaging products and ensuring accurate application of shipping labels.
- Flexibly undertake any additional tasks or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute to overall warehouse success.
- Facilitate productive collaboration among team members and various departments to enhance warehouse efficiency, promoting a harmonious and supportive workplace atmosphere.
- Ensure the maintenance of a safe and clean warehouse environment.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and consistently apply all policies and procedures.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to coordinate with upstream and downstream workflow to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
- Basic knowledge of computers, including typing and keyboard use.
