About the role

Our Warehouse Associate will move trucks, equipment, and trailers, handle job materials, assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries, and ensure safe handling of vehicles, equipment, and materials during every transition.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor vehicles, warehouse equipment, and pull trailers
• Receive shipments and prepare them for storage or transfer
• Inspect shipments and assist in tracking inventory
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse or general construction experience
• Valid driver’s license (must be able to pull trailers)
• Ability to operate large motor vehicles, warehouse equipment, forklifts, and pull trailers
• Familiarity with small engine repair and maintenance
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, GPS tracking software, and tool management software
• Knowledge of basic safety techniques and procedures
• Ability to safely secure materials for transfer
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute work assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Ability to read and use a tape measure, mark, or record distances
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner according to instructions

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required
• Forklift experience preferred, but not required
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred, but not required

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods of time
• Use of ladders, scaffolds, and stairways
• Climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials
• Use of abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly without fatigue
• Close-range vision
• Repetitive movement, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling

Work Environment

• Extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions
• Exposure to very hot (above 90°F) or very cold (below 32°F) temperatures
• Exposure to distracting or uncomfortable sounds and noise levels
• Exposure to contaminants, hazardous materials, or equipment
• Exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings
• Exposure to high places or dangerous conditions
• Mistakes can have serious consequences; strict adherence to safety procedures required
