Warehouse Associate
About the role
Our DC/Warehouse Associates play a crucial role in our distribution centers. They are responsible for tasks such as picking, packing, staging parts, utilizing hand-held radio frequency devices (RF scanners), and moving boxes throughout the distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage parts
- Utilize hand-held radio frequency devices (RF scanners)
- Move boxes throughout the distribution center
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work on various shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Preferred Skills
- Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms
- Talk and hear
- Frequently required to stop, kneel, and crouch
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Compensation and Benefits
The starting pay for this role is $22.15 per hour. The compensation range is $14.25 - $20.25 USD hourly.
