Prestige Maintenance USA is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations.
About the Role
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for pulling materials, breaking down cardboard and plastic, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently. No prior experience is required, just a strong work ethic and willingness to work on your feet.
Responsibilities
- Pull, sort, and stage materials, products, or supplies as directed by warehouse supervisors.
- Break down and flatten cardboard boxes for recycling or disposal in a timely and organized manner.
- Remove and break down plastic wrapping, shrink wrap, and packaging materials from pallets and products.
- Transport broken-down materials to designated recycling bins, compactors, or dumpster areas using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Keep warehouse aisles, work areas, and loading docks clear of debris and clutter at all times.
- Follow all safety guidelines including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Absorb general warehouse tasks as needed, including receiving, stocking, and inventory support.
- Report damaged equipment, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the warehouse supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting.
- Ability to operate small power tools.
- Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching into areas not fully air conditioned.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to include climbing/descending stairwells and ladders.
- Can work independently and in stressful environments.
- Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance.
- Able to drive between customer locations. Optional local area travel using personal vehicle.
- May have responsibility to enter customer facilities that require background screening.
