About the role

The Warehouse Associate will be part of the Warehouse Team responsible for inventory related activities for all components and finished goods. This position will interact with the manufacturing team and other support groups.

Responsibilities

  • Process, package and ship orders accurately and on time
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Check, verify and fill customer invoices
  • Abside by all company safety regulations
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Assemble kits for Manufacturing and issue material via JDE
  • Operate Kardex equipment
  • Process and understand red tag replacements
  • Follow first-in-first-out material rotation (FIFO)

Requirements

  • This job requires compliance with ITAR Regulations, will need to meet citizenship requirements of U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, file directory navigation, ERP navigation, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Desired knowledge of inventory practices
  • Desired experience with MRP/ERP systems, JDE experience a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to read and understand procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs and push/pull up to 50lbs
  • Team player with organizational skills
  • Ability to be trained to operate a forklift
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack or hand truck
  • Dependable and driven by customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Certificate from college or technical school or two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills

  • Compliance with ITAR Regulations
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory practices
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs

Benefits

  • Total Rewards: Compensation range $37,500.00 - $56,300.00, depending on experience
