Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Warehouse Associate for Sierra Forest Products, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our customer experience through efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stack products using a forklift
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of products are loaded and shipped
• Oversee freight handling and secure loads in compliance with safety requirements
• Tag, mark, or label stock items and place them in the correct storage location
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Key updated inventory into the ERP system
• Report any discrepancies in inventory to management
• Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift license required
• Previous forklift experience required
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
• The ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75 lbs repetitively and safely
