Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift
About the role
Warehouse Order Selector position on 2nd shift at 2085 E. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti, MI 48198. Afternoon shift: 5‑day work week, start time 2 pm until finish. Earn between $18–$24/hr with performance‑based picking incentives, additional pay premiums for select warehouse areas and specialized roles, and multiple opportunities to increase earnings based on individual contribution.
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
- Use scanning equipment to locate and select products
- Pack products for shipment
- Maintain quality and accuracy standards
- Follow warehouse safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet daily goals
- Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards
- Run scanning equipment
- Pack orders to the customer’s requirement and/or from provided specifications
- Meet established productivity and quality standards
- Self‑identify mistakes, identify problems, recommend solutions, provide candid and timely feedback, involve others in problem‑solving when needed, and see responsibilities through to successful completion
- Work independently and communicate well with other departments (verbally, written, computer) to move work through the system in an organized fashion
- Function as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duties assigned to best serve the company
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle products throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced setting
- Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Able to lift and stack product between 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Able to work in multi‑temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
- Pass pre‑employment drug test

Pay
