Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

About the role

Warehouse Associates perform assigned shipping and receiving duties and assist the supervisor or lead with day-to-day activities. They operate equipment safely, work with supervisors and leads to meet department needs, and support team operations both inside and outside their assigned department.

Schedule

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay

Starting pay rate: $18.50 per hour plus a $2.10 shift differential. Paid breaks and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift safely, observing all safety rules, utilizing horns, and maintaining proper speeds
  • Follow directions from leads and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Check in, placard, and store all raw materials in the proper location
  • Unload and load trucks properly, completing all required paperwork
  • Rotate stock according to FIFO (First In/First Out) procedure
  • Combine, count, and mark partial items accurately
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by properly marking, storing, and handling finished goods and raw materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  • Work assigned overtime and cover co-workers' vacations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous material handling experience
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to train in other areas of the plant

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations

Physical Demands

  • Forklift and mechanical equipment operation for 100% of the workday
  • Requires a combination of sitting, walking, and standing

Work Environment

The role is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
