Warehouse Associate 2nd shift

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to prepare and organize parts, components, and materials into kits for the assembly line. This role ensures production teams receive accurate and timely kits to maintain efficient workflow and meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Pick and organize parts according to work orders and bill of materials (BOM).
• Assemble kits accurately and label them for identification.
• Verify quantities and quality of components before kitting.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by recording transactions in the warehouse management system in Glovia.
• Communicate with production and purchasing teams to resolve shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purposes of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill”).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and BOMs.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

Non-temperature controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typical of metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, including noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, paint masks or respirators when required, and OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods, walk, reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. Occasional day and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
