About the role

Under limited supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate 2 pulls parts, assists customers, and performs general warehouse duties. This position specializes in a higher-level warehouse function and may assist in training the Warehouse Associate 1.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks
• Provide customer assistance
• Fill orders for customers and shop
• Stock receipting
• Deliver parts
• Order packing
• General cleaning duties
• Assist with warehouse rearrangements
• Locate parts
• Perform bin counts and cycle counts
• Load and unload trucks
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Must work in one or more of the following areas on a full-time basis with limited direct supervision:

• Shipping and receiving
• Hose bench
• Customer and Shop credits
• Remanufactured cores
• Will call / cashier
• Vouchering invoices

Requirements

• Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent experience)
• Understanding of general warehouse duties
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift certificate

Physical Demands

• Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain
• Handling: Works with hands
• Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts; may lift up to 60 lbs. with frequent exertion
• Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction
• Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist
• Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job
• Climbing: In and out of equipment
• Vision: Reads work tickets and parts books
• Talking: Communicates via telecommunications and in person
• Sitting: Sits in equipment and in vehicles

Environmental Conditions

• Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise
• Temperature/Weather: Works in a warehouse and outside with variations of temperature and weather
• Exposure: Foul odors, fumes, and harsh substances

Estimated compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
