About the role
As a Warehouse Associate at Raymour and Flanigan, you will play a crucial role in the entire lifecycle of every customer’s purchase. Your responsibilities start from the moment a customer enters the store, through the loading and unloading of trailers, to the preparation of furniture for assembly.
Responsibilities
- Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices, promoting awareness, and maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
- Become certified on material handling equipment, including order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
- Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes up to and in excess of 200 lbs.
- Safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30-40 feet above ground.
- Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or an inventory scan gun is a plus.

- Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or an inventory scan gun is a plus.
- Forklift operator/Forklift driver/Material handling/Warehouse operations/Warehouse Associate/Distribution Associate.
- Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Understanding of various forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach).
- Warehouse organization, loading docks, pallet jacks, inventory tracking, quality control, and teamwork.
