Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Hearts & Halos In-Home Euthanasia practice is looking for a compassionate, respectful, and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The role involves handling aquamation equipment and deceased pets, managing all aspects of the aftercare process, and ensuring company standards are followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate all aspects of the crematorium, including cleaning
• Thorough record keeping for a smooth aftercare process from beginning to end
• Drive to and from hospitals and aftercare facility
• Follow safety protocols and execute aquamation operations
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record (driving is required)
• Self-motivated with excellent time management
• Detail-oriented, ensuring accurate and organized documentation
• High level of integrity, ethics, and compassion for care of deceased pets
• Familiarity with basic technological equipment
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift approximately 100lbs+ and perform physical tasks (bending, twisting) throughout shift
• Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Desired Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand written and spoken English; bilingual is a plus
• Experience in the death care industry (preferred but not required)

Pay

$18.00/hour

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
