Warehouse Assistant - ARC

About the Role

This Warehouse Assistant pipeline is designed to build a talent pool for future Warehouse Assistant opportunities supporting the Asset Reliability Center (ARC), a rig equipment manufacturing facility specializing in top drives and automated pipe handling equipment. Warehouse Assistants perform a variety of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling functions that support manufacturing and remanufacturing operations. Candidates will work independently and collaboratively to ensure materials are received, stored, transported, and shipped accurately while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and store incoming materials and inventory.
• Pick, stage, package, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Prepare domestic and international shipments.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle count activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate freight as needed.
• Maintain material traceability throughout manufacturing operations.
• Follow warehouse procedures, work instructions, and company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

Warehouse Assistant 1 Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with the ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Minimum one (1) year of stable work history or military service.
• At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, logistics, or related experience.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Warehouse Assistant 1 Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with shipping and receiving operations.
• Previous experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse inventory processes and material traceability.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.

Warehouse Assistant 2 Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with the ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Minimum one (1) year of stable work history or military service.
• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience utilizing ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Warehouse Assistant 2 Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience.
• Three (3) or more years of experience using an ERP system.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping documentation.
• Experience performing inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment.
• Experience with narrow aisle reach forklifts or hydraulic lift equipment.

Work Conditions

This position requires working in both an office and a remanufacturing warehouse facility environment with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others, including coworkers and third parties. The typical work environment includes the shop or field, which may involve:

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Loud noise.
• Working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
• Close collaboration with others and working under deadlines, including time-sensitive response situations.
• Willingness to work extended schedules, including days, and occasionally nights, weekends, and holidays.
