What You'll Do

  • Receive and verify incoming shipments from vendors and supply houses.
  • Unload, inspect, and organize materials for inventory.
  • Pull and stage materials for upcoming projects using pick tickets.
  • Ensure field crews receive the right materials at the right time.
  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory levels.
  • Absorb materials to jobsites when needed.
  • Help keep our warehouse safe, clean, and efficient.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control, or material handling.
  • Construction or electrical material experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience (we will train).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
  • A team-first attitude and strong work ethic.

About the Role

Responsibilities

Our warehouse and receiving specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our electricians have everything they need to complete their projects on time and to the highest standard. They are responsible for receiving and organizing materials, ensuring that they are correctly staged for delivery to the field, and maintaining accurate records of all materials received and dispatched.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control, or material handling. Forklift experience is preferred but not required, as we will provide training. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential, as is the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a DOT medical card is also required.

Qualifications

There are no specific educational requirements for this position, but a high school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred. We offer comprehensive training for all new hires, including forklift operation if applicable.

Skills

Key skills for this role include attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and materials handling equipment is beneficial but not necessary.
