Warehouse and Facilities Associate

About the role

The Warehouse and Facilities Associate ensures accurate and timely shipping and receiving of materials while supporting general facility maintenance and basic office support needs. This hands-on role spans warehouse operations, light maintenance, and administrative tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders following company procedures.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (as certified).
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Organize and maintain clean, safe, and orderly warehouse areas.
• Perform desk and workstation height adjustments.
• Complete light cleaning, organization, painting, and drywall touch-ups.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities, including snow removal, lawn care coordination, and trash removal.
• Perform routine facility inspections to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Assist with furniture moves, office setup, and workspace reconfigurations.
• Support mail distribution, supply stocking, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in warehouse, facilities, or maintenance work; three (3) years preferred.
• Forklift operator certification (OSHA CFR 1910.178) a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask effectively in a detail-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to following established company safety protocols.

Physical demands

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift more.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to work in a variety of temperature and weather conditions.
