Warehouse and CDL Driver
About the role
Viking Electric is seeking a Warehouse and CDL Driver to join our team in Mankato, MN. This role plays a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
- Transport and deliver products to customers with care
- Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license - Class B CDL
- Be at least 21 years old
- Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
- Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical with our physician network
- Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred, but not required
- 1 year of related experience and/or training
