Warehouse Agent V - 16526

Role Overview

This role involves performing an array of warehouse duties. The responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and track shipments.
• Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
• Accommodate and handle fragile merchandise.
• Track and document shipment arrival and departure times.
• Tag, label, and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
• Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
• Prepare all orders for shipment.
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Operate merchandise management tools, such as a forklift.
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Junior Level (less than 5 years of experience).
• Skills: Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and be adaptable to workflow changes.
• Driving is a required function of this role.

Work Environment

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM.
• Local travel between locations in Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, and Chicago is required, accounting for approximately 10% of the time.
