Warehouse Agent

About the role

As a Warehouse Agent at Air Inuit, you will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations in La Grande. You will play a role in the reception, storage and shipment of merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Organize the warehouse in a functional manner and ensure the proper functioning of the equipment
• Load preparation and load verifications
• Assist, when necessary, in the loading and unloading of the aircraft
• Help prepare all flight documents related to cargo
• Cargo reception and distribution
• Operate the forklift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid driving license
• Available to work evenings, nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Inuktituk) or (French/Inuktituk) or (French/English)
• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure in a physically challenging environment

Schedule

Rotational position: 15 days on and 13 days off. Air transport from Montreal as well as accommodation and meals are covered by the company for each rotation. The employee will be recognized as not having a designated base.
