Warehouse Agent
About the role
As a Warehouse Agent at Air Inuit, you will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations in La Grande. You will play a role in the reception, storage and shipment of merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Organize the warehouse in a functional manner and ensure the proper functioning of the equipment
- Load preparation and load verifications
- Aid, when necessary, in the loading and unloading of the aircraft
- Help prepare all flight documents related to cargo
- Cargo reception and distribution
- Operate the forklift
What sets you apart
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/Inuktituk) or (French/Inuktituk) or (French/English)
- Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure in a physically challenging environment
- Hold a valid driving license
- Available to work evenings, nights and weekends
Working conditions
- Rotational position: 15 days on and 13 days off
- Air transport from Montreal as well as accommodation and meals are covered by the company for each rotation
- The employee will be recognized as not having a designated base
