Warehouse 3rd Shift

At Parts Authority, our Warehouse Associates play a critical role in supporting our distribution operations by ensuring inventory is received, stocked, and replenished accurately and efficiently to meet our customers' needs.

Parts Authority was formed by the merger of four companies dating back to 1973, creating a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools/equipment, and transmissions. Headquartered in Long Island, New York, we operate over 300 locations across more than 20 states and are rapidly expanding.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
• Scanning items into the warehouse management system
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
• Organizing the warehouse space
• Preparing and picking orders for shipment
• Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
• Operating stock management tools (e.g., powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks)
• Counting stock and keeping inventory records
• Performing routine cleaning duties
• Interfacing with management to ensure key objectives are realized
• Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations

Requirements

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move objects 10-50 lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 100 lbs
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally sit, climb (ladders and/or stairs), or balance
• May be subject to environmental conditions (e.g., temperature changes, narrow aisles, or passageways)
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Effective time management and ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work well with other staff members and supervisors
• Open availability, flexibility, and ability to work various shifts and overtime
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets

$19.00 per hour (Min USD $18.50/Hr)
