ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment; mixes cleaning solutions according to specifications
- Notifies maintenance manager concerning the need for repairs of equipment
- Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for costume maintenance
- Cleans and presses costumes before and after performances, and performs any minor repairs
- Distributes costumes and related equipment
- Keeps records of costume inventory
- Arranges costumes in order of use to facilitate quick-change procedures for performances
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Requires repetitive movement and/or bending, twisting
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to communicate with Team Members
- Ability to work in small spaces
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in laundry/dry cleaning establishment preferred
- Sewerse experience preferred
