Walk-In Interview Event

We are hosting a walk-in interview event Friday, August 14th, 2026, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm for our School program in Poughkeepsie, NY. The interviews will be held at: 24 Fireman's Way, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.

About the Role

We are hiring immediately for the following positions:

• Teaching Assistants – Full Time / On Call / Temporary (NYS TA Certification Required)
• Teachers’ Aides – Full Time / Part Time / On Call / Temporary (Entry level, a great way to get started!)

Full-time Teacher Aides positions are Monday – Friday, 32.5 hours per week, 48 weeks per year. This position follows the school calendar (September – June), with a 6-week summer program.

Pay

• Teaching Assistants: $17.82 - $19.82 per hour
• Teachers’ Aides: $16.88 - $18.88 per hour

Requirements

• Teaching Assistants: NYS TA Certification Required
• Teachers’ Aides: Entry level, no certification required
• Ability to push and pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn in the knees, pivot, and grasp with both hands (to properly and safely perform techniques taught in CPR/First Aid, behavior intervention techniques, and lifting/carrying techniques), with or without a reasonable accommodation

Schedule

Full-time positions follow the school calendar (September – June) with a 6-week summer program, Monday – Friday, 32.5 hours per week.
