Dining Room Server
Hourly
$12-$15
Schedule
Variated scheduling; including holidays and weekends.
Essential Job Duties
- Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.
- Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
- Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.
- Answers pertinent questions about menu items.
- Assists with dish washing and distribution of clean dishes, if needed.
- Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests.
- Advises the Restaurant Manager regarding dining room status.
- Set up all catering events and clean up after all catering events.
- Completes all assigned cleaning tasks.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work areas.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Abides by all Carillon policies and procedures relating to HIPAA.
Other Requirements
- Able to stand/walk for 100% of the workday.
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. independently.
- Able to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs. independently.
- Able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the workday.
- May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and offensive odors.

Summary
The Dining Room Server is responsible for table service in the Community dining rooms and is responsible for assisting the Dining Room Manager with the overall operation, coordination, appearance and maintenance of the dining area and waitress station and ensuring that courteous and efficient services are delivered.
